Hopkins Concrete Receives Bronze Award from Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme

We are so pleased to announce that we have achieved the Bronze Standard accreditation by FORS, Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme.

What is FORS?

FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme for commercial vehicle operators and currently has over 4000 members. The scheme ensures that all operators meet specific and exacting standards that guarantee safety, fleet efficiently and reduced emissions.

Nathan Hopkins, Director at Hopkins Concrete, commented: “We are pleased to have been awarded the Bronze Standard by FORS. In our efforts to improve our standards of safety and efficiency, our team of drivers have undertaken further training to ensure that these new standards are met. It’s great to see our efforts recognised by FORS.”

To achieve the accreditation, we underwent thorough checks conducted by an auditing team. On-site re-approval audits are conducted on an annual basis to safeguard the measures put in place by the audit process.

In the coming months we will be working towards the silver accreditation which proves even higher safety systems and processes.

Paul Wilkes, FORS Business Services Manager, commented: “We constantly work to make businesses safer, smarter and greener and are pleased to have another fantastic company be recognised by the scheme.”
